Position Overview

In this position you will assist with receiving, stocking and distributing material, tools, equipment and products throughout the warehouse as well as the production floor.  During down time this position will assist with operating machines.  A great opportunity for someone looking to get in with a good company where the potential for growth is unlimited!

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receives material from suppliers and production and verifies accuracy of packing lists against Purchase orders using SAP purchasing Screens or "Boxing report".
  • Counts, sorts and stores materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to SAP inventory screens.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production areas (as needed on second shift).
  • Records quantities of material or items received or distributed by use of Material Requisitions, Receiving Ticket, Sample Requisition Forms, etc.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Operates material handling equipment such as fork truck, electronic counting/weighing scales, 
  • Loads and unloads incoming and outgoing freight using material handling equipment.

Skills and Experience

Knowledge of SAP inventory transactions and warehouse processes is a plus, however we will train the right person!
