Position Overview

Builds and assembles various installation tools including but not limited to MD6, MD7, OH25, MY, MR, MD6R, and subassemblies for hydraulic tools work at bench or on shop floor.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
  • Operates drill presses, arbor presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
  • Verifies conformance to specifications utilizing measuring devices to calibrate tools.
  • Maintains all necessary records and reports.

May be required to be trained in proper handling of hazardous waste in accordance with 40 CFR 265.16 due to the various waste generated within Burndy.  If required, must take part in documented annual reviews of Hazardous Waste regulations.

Skills and Experience

Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
