Position Overview

Identify opportunities for automation projects within the facility to generate process cost reductions and/or throughput improvements.  Define and implement these projects using PLC, robotic arms and customized equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. PLC programming
  2. Programming robotic arm (Fanuc or equivalent).
  3. Implementing and tracking cost reduction projects.


Skills and Experience

  1. Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Engineering; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Experience navigating SAP or similar ERP system
  3. CAD software experience required, Autodesk Inventor preferred
  4. Capital projects:  creating, getting approvals and implementation of equipment
