Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

Operate forklift truck, perform on a daily basis a considerable amount of repetitive, manual exertion operations such as, shoveling sand, clean up work and handling metal. Approximately 35 lbs. maximum lifting required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Continuous manual exertion will require high level of physical stamina with maximum attention to
working environment.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous forklift experience preferred, but not required.
  • Sound general physical condition required to accomplish continued and repetitive manual exertion as described.
  • Must be able to work in atmosphere which ranges 15 degrees higher than outside temperature.
  • Acceptable vision and hearing sensitivities.
