Job Overview
The HR Generalist is responsible for running the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring, interviewing, benefits and enforcing company policies and practices. This role will be responsible for partnering with plant leadership to deliver a high-performance culture, promoting ownership, goal attainment and continuous learning and improvement at all levels of plant. Serve as a resource to provided customer service support to employees by responding to employee inquiries, and questions. Responsibilities will include providing information regarding company policies, procedures, and programs; processing request /documents; and updating HR systems while ensuring efficient delivery of customer service to employees.
A Day In The Life

- Recruitment: Conducting full-cycle recruitment activities such as sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
- Benefits: Administering employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
- Employee/Labor Relations: Handling employee relations matters and providing guidance to managers on employee-related issues. Responding to and resolving employee complaints and grievances.
- Investigations: Conducting internal investigations related to employee misconduct, harassment, or discrimination. Coordinating with legal counsel as necessary.
- Training and Development: Developing and delivering training programs for employees and managers. Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvement.
- Compensation: Administering compensation programs, including salary and bonus reviews, job evaluations, and salary surveys. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Reporting: Generating HR reports and metrics to support business decisions and track progress towards HR goals.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or Management
- 3+ year of relevant HR experience (required)
- Manufacturing industry or warehouse experience (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management system
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
