Job Overview

The Lean Manufacturing Specialist provides consulting and technical support to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role focuses on tooling optimization, PCORE manufacturing process communication and optimization, equipment planning and layout, and scrap minimization. The specialist will also perform additional services and projects that support the Company’s operational goals.

A Day in The Life

 

  • Provide consulting services related to tooling design, selection, and optimization to support efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Support and improve PCORE manufacturing process communication, ensuring clear, standardized, and effective information flow across teams.
  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, throughput, quality, and cost control using Lean methodologies.
  • Lead and support equipment planning and facility layout initiatives to maximize productivity, workflow, and space utilization.
  • Identify root causes of material waste and defects and implement scrap minimization strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard work, and visual management tools.
  • Provide training and coaching on Lean principles and best practices as needed.
  • Perform additional services or work that supports the Company’s manufacturing and operational objectives.
