Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and highly curious Finance Director to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for our Protection and Controls business. This is an opportunity for a self-directed finance leader to help shape the future of a growing business by turning financial discipline, operational insight, and strong business partnership into clear decisions and measurable results. The role combines strategic FP&A leadership, executive partnership, and hands-on problem solving, giving the right candidate a visible seat at the table as the business sets priorities, evaluates investments, improves forecast discipline, and converts analysis into action. This role will be based at our Largo (FL) or Westbury (NY) site. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during the interview process. The salary range for this role is $150,000-$170,000 per year. This position offers a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

A Day In The Life
- Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans in alignment with corporate goals.
- Performance Analysis: Deliver timely and insightful analysis of financial results, key performance indicators (KPIs), and business trends to drive strategic decisions.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and board materials for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with the VP/General Manager of Protection & Controls and functional leaders to support strategic initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
- Modeling & Scenario Planning: Build and maintain financial models to assess business performance, scenarios, risks, and opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Closely work with the VP/GM and VP-Finance to drive actionable insight from analysis and improve forecast accuracy.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience influencing senior executives
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, OneStream, SAP)
- Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed organization preferred
