PCX Corporation is seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager. This position will be based in Knightdale, North Carolina.

PCX Corporation is the leading integrator of engineered and pre-fabricated electrical/mechanical systems for the modular data center, commercial and industrial markets.  Our product offerings include but are not limited to Modular Data Centers, Power Equipment Centers, Custom Integrated Switchboards, and pre-manufactured indoor/outdoor electrical distribution centers.  We are seeking an innovative and talented professional to join our team.  

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of 33 personnel and optimizing inventory accuracy, material flow, and control processes within a data center manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing the inventory process, shipping process and receiving process in three facilities (two in Knightdale and one in Clayton).    The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience in manufacturing inventory systems, strong SAP skills and the ability to partner with all cross functional stake holders.

The ideal candidate will help the business improve its SAP functionality, operational discipline and drive improvements in the four key functions (SHIP,  RECEIVE, STORE,  PICK).

A Day In The Life

·   Manage and develop assigned supervisor(s), inventory technicians and personnel in accordance with all Hubbell policies and procedures.

·   Ensure accurate inventory records through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation activities.

·   Manage the operation of all shipping and receiving docks (3).

·   Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory variances, shortages, and discrepancies.

·   Collaborate with all stakeholders to align inventory strategies with demand forecasts and build plans.

·   Ensure all SAP transactions are being performed at all levels correctly and timely.

·   Establish controls for high‑value and long‑lead components commonly used in data center infrastructure (power, cooling, racks, cabling, etc.).

·   Ensure compliance with safety standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.

·   Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies for key elements especially picking speed and inventory accuracy.

  • Lead annual plant inventory operations.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned by management.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of inventory control or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Expert knowledge warehouse systems and operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing inventory in a complex, high‑mix or build‑to‑order manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert in SAP warehouse operations (SHIP, RECEIVE, STORE, PICK)
  • Lean, Six Sigma, APICS (CPIM/CSCP), or similar certification.
  • Proven excellence in similar managerial role.
