Job Overview
The Quality Warranty Coordinator plays a key role in supporting quality assurance processes by managing and coordinating supplier issue resolution and facilitating customer complaint handling. Acting as a central liaison across departments, this role ensures timely communication, alignment of processes, and effective resolution of component-related issues. The coordinator helps drive operational excellence by maintaining high standards of quality, supporting warranty workflows, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
A Day In The Life
Customer Complaint & Warranty Support
- Administer the customer complaint process, including coordination of component replacements or returns under vendor warranty, internal warranty, or non-warranty conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely part availability and delivery.
- Track and communicate warranty status, timelines, and potential schedule impacts to stakeholders.
- Maintain and update warranty trackers and related documentation.
Supplier Quality Support
- Review and validate supplier-related quality issues, identifying non-conforming products.
- Issue, track, and follow up on Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) to ensure timely resolution.
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams to drive issues to closure and prevent recurrence.
- Maintain organized records of supplier corrective actions and outcomes.
Documentation & Process Coordination
- Ensure accurate and compliant documentation of all quality-related activities, including complaints, SCARs, and warranty cases.
- Support internal audits and reviews by maintaining accessible and well-structured records.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending and implementing enhancements.
- Assist in aligning cross-functional workflows to support quality and warranty objectives.
