Job Overview
The Production Supervisor at PCX plays a central leadership role in directing daily operational activities across multiple areas of Data Center Manufacturing. This position is responsible for optimizing and tracking team performance, ensuring consistent production throughput, and driving strategic initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The role requires a hands-on, adaptable leader capable of supervising diverse manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
A Day In The Life
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day production activities and processes across assigned manufacturing areas, ensuring operational alignment with PCX’s strategic goals for Safety efficiency, quality, and output.
- Assign and follow up daily work tasks and manage labor, materials, tools, and equipment to meet or exceed production schedules and customer requirements.
Performance Management
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), with a strong focus on production throughput, on-time delivery, quality performance, and workforce utilization.
- Implement data-driven decision-making to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and enhance overall productivity.
Quality Assurance
- Maintain strict adherence to PCX’s quality standards by conducting regular checks, upholding documentation requirements, and promoting accountability for quality outcomes.
- Address production issues promptly to ensure all deliverables meet internal standards and customer specifications.
Team Development
- Train, coach, and develop employees across multiple manufacturing disciplines, promoting skill growth, cross-training, and consistent performance improvement.
- Foster a team-oriented environment that encourages problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Cross-Department Coordination
- Collaborate closely with other Supervisors, Production Planners, Engineering, Quality, and Materials teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective resource allocation.
- Support shifting production priorities by reallocating personnel or materials as needed to optimize throughput across all operations.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce PCX safety policies and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring employees follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and corrective action planning.

- Drive cost savings through process improvements, waste reduction, and efficient use of labor and materials.
