Job Overview
The PCX Material Handler Team Leader is Responsible for coordinating, monitoring and
overseeing all material movement activities required for proper warehouse storage and
supporting manufacturing. Responsible for motivating and mentoring employees to reach their highest potential while maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude to ensure company and customer satisfaction. Responsible for working alongside team members to provide instruction and guidance.
A Day In The Life
- Assisting Warehouse Supervisor and Inventory Manager in developing, improving and implementing department policies and procedures.
- Participating in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in procedures.
- Planning, prioritizing and directing staff of daily work schedule as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Will have direct responsibility for ensuring the quality of work to meet or exceed expectations.
- Coordinating movement of finished goods within the facility.
- Training personnel on material handling processes and ensuring that processes are followed.
- Serve as a resource for personnel in Shipping and Receiving roles.
- Maintaining accurate inventory in the current MRP system by ensuring that material issue detail is entered correctly and that materials are correctly transferred from one job/project to another. Responsible for following through on re-tagging materials according to job transfer paperwork.
- Maintaining efficient warehouse organization.
- Maintaining Shipping and Receiving Dock cleanliness. Direct and take part in daily housekeeping, e.g. sweeping floors, trash disposal and removal.
- Safely performing the duties and responsibilities of a Material Handler which includes but is not limited to proper warehouse storage of materials and material movements to support manufacturing as needed.
- Effective communication and cooperation with Inventory Specialist to support Material Handler responsibilities.

- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 lbs., perform moderate grasping and reaching below shoulder height.
