Job Overview

The PCX Electrical Integrator is responsible for completing all assigned work according to specifications in a high quality and safe manner. The Electrical Integrator is the expert in the integration of electrical equipment on modular base frames, enclosures, and all other PCX products while adhering to all engineering and quality specifications. Electrical Integrators understand and participate in the PCX quality program, to include KANBAN inspection scheduling and in-process inspections, and are knowledgeable in the project process flow, working with the engineering department during project planning and execution.   The Electrical Integrator is required to follow the instructions of the electrical supervisor and suggest improvements.

A Day In The Life

  • Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements
  • Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc.
  • Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment in new installations following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using rulers, measuring devices, hand tools, pipe threader, and conduit bender.
  • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
  • Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
  • Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting,
  • climbing, etc.
  • Listens and follows directions from supervisors and management
  • Must verify conformance of work to specifications
  • Must exhibit quality workmanship that adheres to engineering and customer specifications
  • Adheres to PCX Quality Management System and ISO9001 standards
  • Works in a timely, efficient manner to meet all daily performance objectives
  • Maintains tools and equipment in proper working condition

  • Able to lift up to 50# consistently
  • Ability to work 10 hours per day and weekends as required
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Background check and drug-screen are required
