The Shipping Prep role is responsible for performing a variety of electrical and mechanical tasks related to the preparation and shipment of equipment enclosures. This includes panel installation, conductor preparation and termination, tray installation, and other related electrical duties. The role also involves painting, material handling, and shipping preparation to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

A Day In The Life

  • Install and bond electrical panels within equipment enclosures.
  • Prepare, run, and terminate electrical conductors.
  • Install cable trays and other electrical components as required.
  • Perform general electrical tasks associated with equipment enclosures.
  • Paint enclosures or components as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading.
  • Prepare equipment enclosures for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

  • Previous experience in electrical assembly, shipping prep, or related field is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and work instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
