Job Overview

The Project Coordinator oversees administrative tasks, communicates with stakeholders, and ensures resource availability for the project team. This role organizes and communicates all the details of projects and specific assignments to team members and serves as a liaison between those team members and the project manager.          
 

A Day In The Life

  • Coordinating project management activities, resources, equipment, and information. 
  • Dividing projects into achievable actions and establishing timeframes. 
  • Assigning tasks to internal teams and assisting with schedule management. 
  • Ensuring that client needs are met as projects evolve. 
  • Helping prepare budgets. 
  • Analyzing risks and opportunities. 
  • Overseeing project procurement management. 
  • Monitoring project progress and handling any issues that arise. 
  • Acting as the point of contact and communicating project status to all participants. 
  • Issuing all appropriate legal paperwork. 
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports. 
  • Ensuring standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests. 
     

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • 3-6 years of project coordinating experience (required) 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (required) 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field  
  • CAPM or PMP certifications preferred 
  • Working knowledge of project management software and systems 
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and action plans 
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control 
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools
