Job Overview
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will have the opportunity to build and help define the financial planning and analysis function for the organization. Working alongside the executive management team and internal/ external stakeholders, this individual will take the lead in gathering and interpreting financial and operational data that will be used to make key strategic and operational decisions. This role supports Systems Control and is 50% onsite in Iron Mountain, MI.

A Day In The Life
- Conduct ongoing financial forecasting, modeling, and provide management clear visibility into the Company’s financial health and outlook
- Create appropriate metrics/KPI’s, reporting tools, and dashboards that give insight into the performance of the business
- Recommend, implement, and track countermeasures to correct low performing areas and improve financial performance
- Work with the management team to prepare monthly and quarterly updates to company stakeholders
- Work closely with business leaders to incorporate financial and strategic analysis into key business decisions
- Design and implement repeatable and scalable long-term planning and budgeting processes across all departments
- Participate in the evaluation of investment opportunities, including; acquisitions, joint ventures, product and service expansion proposals, geographic expansion initiatives, and capital projects
- Develop and manage staff

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or Economics or a related field
- A CPA or MBA is preferred but not required
- 5 to 8 years of corporate finance-related experience with consistent career progression
- Significant experience in a strategic finance or financial planning and analysis function, using financial analyses to inform business decision
