Job Overview

The Compliance Technician at Systems Control coordinates all design activities for Equipment Enclosure projects at Systems Control and ensures compliance with state and third-party process regulations.

A Day In The Life

  • Schedule and facilitate Design kick-off meetings with Drafting, Engineering, and Project Management
  • Coordinate Design process steps between internal parties
  • Track and report project progress to Scheduling, Production, and Project Management
  • Ensure Professional Engineering resources are in place for required states/disciplines
  • Ensure adherence to compliance processes for state submittals for each project
  • Document state submittal requirements and maintain submittal templates
  • Manage external communication with state regulatory contacts
  • Complete and manage all state and third-party submittal packages in a timely manner
  • Resolve and submit state and third-party discrepancy reports
  • Reduce third-party plan review deviations
  • Assist in Compliance training for Design and Engineering department personnel

  • Associate Degree in Engineering related field-Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and delegate tasks to meet timelines

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, forward-thinking work environment
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Proactive approach to resolving issues and keeping projects on schedule
