Job Overview
The Compliance Technician at Systems Control coordinates all design activities for Equipment Enclosure projects at Systems Control and ensures compliance with state and third-party process regulations.
A Day In The Life
- Schedule and facilitate Design kick-off meetings with Drafting, Engineering, and Project Management
- Coordinate Design process steps between internal parties
- Track and report project progress to Scheduling, Production, and Project Management
- Ensure Professional Engineering resources are in place for required states/disciplines
- Ensure adherence to compliance processes for state submittals for each project
- Document state submittal requirements and maintain submittal templates
- Manage external communication with state regulatory contacts
- Complete and manage all state and third-party submittal packages in a timely manner
- Resolve and submit state and third-party discrepancy reports
- Reduce third-party plan review deviations
- Assist in Compliance training for Design and Engineering department personnel

- Associate Degree in Engineering related field-Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and delegate tasks to meet timelines
- Ability to work and effectively interact with various departments throughout the organization
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, forward-thinking work environment
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Proactive approach to resolving issues and keeping projects on schedule
