Job Overview

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for overseeing and nurturing relationships with a portfolio of key TIER 1 OEM customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and business growth. This role acts as the primary point of contact, driving strategic initiatives, identifying opportunities for expansion, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions that meet clients’ evolving needs.

A Day In The Life

•    Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate.
•    Understand each client’s business goals, challenges, and industry trends to proactively identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
•    Coordinate with internal teams—including operations, engineering, product management, marketing, and customer service—to deliver seamless solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
•    Lead regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients, presenting performance metrics and aligning on future objectives.
•    Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize mutual value and ensure compliance with company policies.
•    Monitor account health, track key performance indicators, and develop action plans to address issues or capitalize on opportunities.
•    Drive account retention and growth by upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services.
•    Serve as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for enhancements and collaborating on product or service improvements.
•    Stay informed about market developments and competitors to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge.

What will help you thrive in this role?

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
•    5+ years’ experience in account management, sales, or client-facing roles, ideally with strategic or enterprise accounts.
•    Proven track record of building and managing high-value relationships.
•    Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
•    Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
•    Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
