Job Overview
Screw Machine Setup / Operate
Individual will perform machine setup on Screw Machines and/or run machinery, consistent with current ISO requirements, safety requirements, and 5-S requirements.
A Day In The Life
- Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine.
- Responsible for performing setup on screw machines; including, tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
- Responsible for conformance with quality specifications.
- Ability to assist other operators in performing tool changes, trouble shooting, and maintenance activities.
- Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines.
