Position Overview

Responsible for all Product Management activities to assigned products to maximize product line gross margin and unit volume growth

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop specific and measurable objectives for product lines associated with assigned market.
  • Participate in developing and updating the Annual Strategic Market and Company Plan.
  • Develop a pricing strategy for all product responsibilities to maximize gross margin and profit growth.
  • Establish pricing promotions (as necessary) to drive product sales.
  • Monitor market/industry pricing trends to adjust as necessary to meet margin and profit goals.
  • Work closely with Market Managers, Strategic Account Managers and the Field Sales force to establish competitive pricing to capture incremental new profitable business opportunities and/or maintain market share.
  • Support development criteria (formal NPD process) for new product ideas
  • Responsible for introduction of new products in accordance with the Strategic Plan.
  • Responsible for new product forecasts (dollars and quantity) and product launch programs and supporting strategies.

Skills and Experience

  • Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
  • Computer Skills: SAP, have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail and other PC application skills.
  • Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
  • Project Management: Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities.


Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering General
