Position Overview

Group leader will support the production supervisor by monitoring  day to day production activites, while ensuring standards/goal are being met.

  • 8hr Shifts (1st shift)
  • Monday – Friday (6:00AM - 2:00PM)
  • Overtime as required

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work as a team and maintain excellent working relationships with all employees to maintain effective and open communication to encourage involvement.
  • Ensure workers are properly trained and equipped with the right tools to do their job correctly.
  • Achieve productivity gains while improving quality and meeting customer schedules, working towards reducing costs, and eliminating waste.
  • Assure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide assistance in dealing with shop problems and make the decisions necessary to alleviate or remove the problem.
  • Train and motivate workers.  Take interest in their jobs and provide clear, concise work instructions
  • When necessary, may be required to perform setups, set up inspection, document and use the pc to access part prints and inspection checklists.
  • When necessary, may be required to assemble products, pack orders, material handle, or any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Skills and Experience

  • Employee must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Need to be able to exercise good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Must be organized and have the ability and drive to meet deadlines and work under pressure.


High School Diploma in Other
