We’re looking for a creative, high energy and motivated individual for National Account (NA) Quotations. This key position will oversee and lead day-to-day operations of the NA Quotation Specialists. Primary responsibilities include driving increased conversion rates and sales with new business opportunities while proactively streamlining procedures to meet/exceed customer demand. A serve and can-do attitude is a must for this Manager position.  

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing and leading a highly effective team of Quotation Specialists, improving response times of quotations and product feasibility requests from their assigned group of accounts within the HLI rep network.
  • Making decisions, (pricing/quotation-based decisions) on factors related to the specific situations in a timely and effective manner, based upon the direction provided by the Director and Dept VP. Developing your team to make best case business decisions based on the same criteria.
  • Offering basic technical support, as well as interpretation and communication of the specific needs to the engineered to order product opportunities and guiding your team to do the same.
  • Possess a WIN attitude. Promotes that WIN and SERVE attitude with your team. Direct Sales background a plus.
  • Provide feedback to the NA Service Director, Product Managers, and brand product marketing (positioning), pricing and negotiation strategies.
  • Responsible for coaching of internal and external stakeholders on the product marketing, pricing and negotiations strategies.
  • Support the instruction and implementation regarding new systems and processes.
  • Provide support and guidance to Customer Service/Order Entry, when there is difficulty reconciling orders that are not clearly defined by a quote or published marketing materials as well as train the Account Specialists.
  • Resolve and/or provide input towards the final determination of claims/debits that are pricing related.

Skills and Experience

Qualifications include:

  • 5-10 years experience in quoting field (or inside sales/sales management) and/or sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and desire to take on additional responsibilities
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
  • Energetic, friendly, outgoing, and proactive personality
  • Willing to learn and grow with the company


Bachelors Degree in Management or Business
