Position Overview

The Salesforce Administrator will assist in the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment which is rapidly growing as part of our Digital Experience Department. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce.com Lightning platform. The administrator will be part of a team and will also work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes. Our Salesforce Administration team is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day configuration, training, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a System Administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 1200+ users in two SFDC Orgs
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Work with little direction to understand business needs to define and document the scope of new development requirements as a key business partner 
  • Work with our management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Assist in training of users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
     

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs 
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
  • Proven track record to craft and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Prioritize simultaneous requests, and lead laterally and upwards
  • Creative and analytical problem solver with strong problem-solving skills and data management abilities Demonstrate exceptional verbal/written communication skills and communicate optimally at all levels of the organization  
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce.com platform, with the ability to build custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Salesforce Admin Certification with 2+ years of Salesforce.com Admin experience
  • Experience with both Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (knowledge of Experience Cloud is a plus)
  • Experience w/various integrations w/Salesforce.com and/or ERP software a plus
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and intermediate Excel skills required
  • Experience working with Agile methodology using MS DevOps
     

Education

Bachelors Degree in Business or Information Systems
