At Hubbell, you'll work alongside our esteemed One Hubbell Finance (OHF) leadership, IT experts, Business Unit Leaders, and third-party outsourcing partners. Your role will be crucial in revolutionizing how our teams deliver solutions through innovative projects that drive real impact across the organization.
A Day In The Life
- Systems Analysis: Inventory and analysis of current systems and processes in collaboration with functional experts to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement for streamline operations. Establish strong relationships with IT resources to understand the capabilities and limitations of existing systems.
- Solution Development: Assist in creating detailed solution plans that instruct both onshore and offshore teams on optimal system utilization. Recommend strategies to leverage technical resources for the development of RPA (Robotic Process Automation), BI (Business Intelligence), and other solutions.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a key IT and accounting expert, aiding in system testing, documentation, and training. Define requirements for systems or processes to support organizational functions. Provide ongoing training and resolve issues for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Management Support: Collaborate with the Process Development Manager (PDM) to monitor and document progress on larger functional transformation initiatives. Ensure documentation is maintained accurately and deadlines are met.
- Transformation Initiatives: Engage in projects focused on process redesign, RPA, BI, and other areas, under the guidance and methodologies of the PDM. Assist in or lead the creation of business cases for projects requiring additional investments.
- Change Management: Develop, implement, and maintain change management plans. Lead or assist in training sessions on procedures or tools. Conduct post-implementation analysis to assess the impact and effectiveness.
- Presentation Support: Creation and delivery of presentations to communicate project statuses, proposals, and outcomes.

- Experienced Professionals: With a 4-year degree in accounting or business-related field, experience in a large corporate environment with strong familiarity with enterprise accounting or CRM systems (SAP preferred)
- Tech-Savvy Innovators: Strong proficiency in MS Office, project management principles, and Data Visualization Software (such as Power BI) who can see the big picture but also meticulous enough to manage details and sensitive deadlines.
- Process Improvement Mindsets: Ability to understand and articulate needs and challenges, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies to resolve aligned with business objectives.
