Duties and Responsibilities

  • To load, unload, and move material within or near the plant yard or work site.  
  • Weigh drums, keep operators posted on status of parts, counts, etc.
  • Ensure completed parts correctly go to the next staging area.

Position Overview

Provide and arrange component parts for press personnel at the work stations to avoid any interruptions in their daily assignments.  Move and transfer To material in orderly manner to insure proper flow of service and operations.  To contribute toward the efficient operation of the press department by weighing and recording piece counts for operators.  Working from general instructions and utilizing good working knowledge of the press functions. Complies with current ISO requirements, all safety requirements, and good housekeeping.

Skills and Experience

Language Skills - Good communication skills are key. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
