Position Overview

The Technical Support and Field Service Manager’s role oversees most of the primary technical resource for multiple Hubbell Lighting brands working to support Hubbell Lighting's business units. The role includes both leading and improving the operation for multiple teams that service our customer post sale. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the technical support phones assistance team
  • Manage and control a $3 million plus Field Service business using both internal, external, and contracted resources. 
  • Set operational standards and procedures for all teams
  • Oversee and adopt support software platforms to improve performance.
  • Drive improvement though data analytics
  • Lead teams to resolve customer issues or difficulties in a timely manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
  • Expand offerings in service and support to serve customers and promote growth

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 4 year Business and/or Technical degree
  • Management experience in customer support services and/or operations is a plus
  • Management experience in personnel direct reports is a plus
  • Background in working with end users a plus
  • Computer Skills:  Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, PowerBI), CRM background is a plus
  • Strong communication skills – verbal (phone and personal contact) and written
  • Strong operational skill
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a profit center

Education

Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering General
