Job Overview

As an IT Digital Product Owner, you will help shape the digital experience of Hubbell’s B2B & B2C web applications and digital services to deliver on Hubbell’s vision and value realization.  In this role, you will work closely with various partners across IT, corporate functions, and business units to develop the overall Digital product roadmap and ensure successful project execution.  This role will manage intake & prioritization of customer requirements, translate the business needs to the technical teams, and work closely with delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction.  The IT Product Owner also ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals, as well meeting IT’s requirements such as expectations on compliance, security, scalability and project methodology.

A Day In The Life

  • Being a 'User' focused individual who keeps the customer at the heart of everything we do.
  • Defining & prioritizing the product roadmap and delivery team/vendor, while balancing budget, timelines, and other constraints.
  • Partner to develop and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment to the organization's product strategy and business objectives.
  • Clearly communicating our strategy and our key metrics in regular product sync-up meetings to business, peers & other interlocked teams.
  • Gathering valuable inputs, updating the plans accordingly, and communicating their impact to all the relevant stakeholders.
  • Taking initiative for getting the requirements, providing their clear interpretations using user stories.
  • Exhibiting strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
  • Measures product performance as well as value delivered to clients and adjusts product roadmaps and plans where necessary.
  • Being skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization. 

 

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • 10+ Years of Experience in Product Management,
  • 7+ Years of Experience in Business Analysis or Business Relationship Management
  • 5+ Years of Project Management (SaaS products)
  • 5+ Vendor Management (SI)
  • Technology experience should include .Net, Cloud Native Technologies, eCommerce stacks (Ideally MACH)
  • Focused on web applications and eCommerce, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively presenting to a broad range of collaborators, up to C-Level Executives
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • PMI, PMO, Agile, Scrum or similar certification is preferred.
