Position Overview

As an eCommerce Promotions Analyst you will be a part of our Channel Marketing team with the primary responsibility to develop data driven strategies to grow our share of “digital shelf” through profitable paid placement campaigns, high conversion promotions and competitive pricing for national brands like Progress Lighting on key retailer websites. If you love to analyze data, identify growth opportunities and create plans that drive incremental sales growth, then this is the perfect role for you. The ideal candidate is analytical, results driven, strategic and detail oriented.

Duties and Responsibilities

​​​​​​​Pricing & Promotions

  • Utilizes sales data and competitive insights to thoughtfully develop and execute forward-looking promotional strategies for the eCommerce channel.
  • Develop reports to track, analyze impact and improve promotional performance and profitability.
  • Identify opportunities and test for retail pricing optimization.
  • Evaluate opportunities for improvement and updates to our Internet Minimum Advertised Pricing.
  • Partner with Pricing, Sales and Channel Marketing teams to align promotions and pricing with business objectives for the eCommerce channel.

Product Placement & Advertising

  • Utilize performance data and channel partner platforms to develop strategies and execute paid placement / advertising campaigns to increase discoverability of our products online.
  • Develop reports to track, analyze impact and improve conversion for optimum return on investment of discretionary spending.
  • Create analytic tools that allow us to understand the business, market environment, and competitive landscape
  • Partner with Sales, Channel Marketing and Content teams to develop and align advertising / online event strategies with business objectives in the eCommerce channel.

Skills and Experience


  • 3+ Years of Experience leveraging Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Advanced in Excel and data mining
  • Digital Marketing or Search Engine Marketing Experience preferred
  • Experience working with major etailers preferred
  • Working knowledge of high level economic/financial concepts (e.g. price elasticity, ROI, profitability)
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills required
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams




Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business
