Position Overview

The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of our Home Center specific marketing plans including new product go to market strategies, curated product assortments, merchandising, promotions and advertising. The position will leverage data to analyze and discover insights and identify opportunities that will drive profitable growth for Hubbell and our customers. 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Perform gap analysis to determine areas of strength and opportunity to grow our business with competitive insights and trends for product categories, styles, finishes, maturity and price points. 
  • Leverage Point of Sales Data to discover customer and product insights, track performance and identify areas for improvement to increase productivity of the assortment. 
  • Assist in leading strategic priorities for product line reviews including the development of presentation with compelling, data supported recommendations to increase or in store and virtual share of shelf. 
  • Develop creative omni-channel solutions for merchandising, signage, planograms, digital content and collateral to improve the customer shopping experience and increase conversion.
  • Partner with the customer’s marketing teams and portals to drive traffic and create brand presence on the customer’s website and additional advertising levers. 
  • Partner with internal marketing communications and content development team to leverage owned and earned marketing channels to create brand awareness and support customer growth initiatives. 
  • Execute promotional strategy to capture incremental demand during customer events. 
  • Track and report out on effectiveness of different activities and initiatives in order to improve overall ROI. 
  • Monitors market shifts and positioning to remain informed and takes appropriate action to ensure market position is maintained. 
     
Skills and Experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">4-7 years’ product or channel marketing experience 
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Consumer package goods, home improvement or building products experience 
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Experience with home centers or mass retail is required
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience with PowerBI or Tableau and POS Data required       
Education
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business
