Position Overview

The Business Solutions Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful training, agency adoption, system support and strategic project improvement initiatives of Hubbell's commercial lighting agency third party software platform, Oasis.  The platform accounts for over a half a billion in sales interactions.  This position will require a high level of collaboration with various functional groups including IT, sales, service, brand, marketing, agency principals and their staff.  The role is key to delivering on Hubbell's strategic ease of doing business and growth initiatives.               

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy Oasis business process and software training programs via online, virtual and onsite mediums across critical Agency partners and their teams.
  • Identify and mobilize strategic digital improvement initiatives that involve Oasis software, voice of the customer and Hubbell strategies.
  • Manage related IT system support processes and service levels with third party development and support team of three.
  • Identify and Pareto problem trends between Oasis and Hubbell applications and drive resolutions with third party development team and with Hubbell IT teams.  
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to sell improvement solutions with supporting return on investment to agency principals and senior management.
  • Support corporate digital experience initiatives that impact Oasis requirements as key stakeholder leader and facilitator.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in commercial lighting business process (sales and service) and related system applications (Oasis, SAP, Office365, PowerBI and other) and grasp nuisances that impact performance across parties (Hubbell staff, Hubbell Agencies and IT).  
  • Support development and adoption of critical Oasis tools and functionality that drive big data insights and new capabilities to forecast and plan.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, Computer Science, Ecommerce, Marketing or other relevant discipline
  • Experience developing and deploying training programs preferably in software
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence in 360
  • Highly organized with strong project leadership skills
  • Tech savvy with experiencing interacting with platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 365 and more including foundational understanding of IT architecture
  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning and predictive analytics to derive business solutions from data
  • Ability to manage small teams and meet timeline commitments
  • Strong business process acumen with avid curiosity to understand cause and effect relationships
  • Sound problem solving capability and solution mindset
  • Results driven through team collaboration
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
