Position Overview

Supervise warehouse work force as directed by management.  Perform and maintain all shipping processes. (Returns, Receiving, Shipping).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sort/Staple/assign picks from the Batch jobs
  • Monitor the work flow of the area/ flex employees and equipment  accordingly
  • Work with all depts. On expedites, ordering MRO items (C.S., Scheduling, Purchasing etc.)
  • Maintain and enforce all plant rules and union by laws
  • Perform Safety audits, BBQ check list, racking audits, Employee PPE, Lock Out Tag Out, etc.
  • Monitor payroll of the dept.(E-time, vacation, Holiday pay)
  • Maintain Grainger process
  • Sustain and help to implement the scanning process
  • Maintain ADC priority shipping schedule.
  • Communicate schedule with Truck lines (pickups, swaps, special loads, etc.)
  • Hold meetings with employees on a daily basis (QCDS, and as needed.
  • Monitor receiving and returns area. 

Skills and Experience

  • SAP, SAP BI software experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (Microsoft)
  • Be able to multi-task and work under tight time constraints.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred and/or two plus years related experience.
