Position Overview:


We are seeking an Engineering Intern to support 3 key projects related to our Reliaguard products. Our Internship Program runs May - August 2022. 

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Create technical documentation, aligning our entire catalog of products to applicable ANSI documentation standards. Working closely with product engineers, production molders, and quality control, the engineer will be required to determine the appropriate level of detail required, and create drawings to suit. Additionally, the Engineering Intern will assist in creating customer focused drawings, with the guidance of sales staff.
  • Establish intellectual property of existing product designs. The engineering intern will create images and write copy which best protects product designs. Working alongside Hubbell’s legal team, they will follow the IP application process through start to finish.
  • Create customer facing instruction guides for the remainder of our product line. Working with end-users, the engineering intern will create technical documentation that clearly and succinctly illustrates the processes required to install our products in the field.

Skills and Experience:


  • Junior, Senior or Recent Grad from Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience using Solidworks software
  • Experience in Solid Modeling software 
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop
