Job Overview
The Domestic and International Team Supervisor is responsible for leading daily customer service and inside sales activities for Killark's business while directly managing key territories and customer accounts. This position acts as the primary liaison between customers, sales representatives, operations, product management, pricing, project management, logistics, and accounts receivable to ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the order lifecycle.
In addition to managing assigned territories, the role serves as the working supervisor for the Customer Service (Territory Coordinators) team, providing leadership, coaching, performance management, workload balancing, and process improvement support. The position combines hands-on account management with team leadership to drive customer satisfaction, sales growth, operational efficiency, and employee development.
Leads a team of between 6-8 customer service team members.
A Day In The Life
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned international customers, distributors, and sales partners.
- Manage customer accounts and orders from quotation through delivery and after-sales support.
- Build strong customer relationships, resolve issues, and identify growth opportunities.
- Support project orders and coordinate with sales teams to meet customer commitments.
- Provide support on product selection, pricing, lead times, and order status.
- Monitor territory performance, backlog, and customer activity.
- Lead and support the daily activities of the International Inside Sales team.
- Set priorities, manage workloads, and ensure consistent customer service.
- Coach, train, and develop team members.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and cross-training initiatives.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Drive performance in order accuracy, response times, backlog management, and delivery support.
- Partner with Operations and Production to resolve customer and supply chain issues.
- Ensure compliance with company processes and standard operating procedures.
- Utilize SAP, Salesforce, and reporting tools to monitor team and territory performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Pricing, Operations, Finance, and Project Management teams.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex customer issues.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Associate's Degree (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, or a related role.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of order management, Salesforce, Microsoft Office products, and customer service processes.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Experience supporting international customers and export business preferred.
