Job Overview
The Production Technician supports day-to-day manufacturing operations for Wildlife Mitigation Business Unit (WMBU) products—most notably Greenjacket® and Reliaguard®—by safely executing spraying, modifying, grinding, and finishing activities to meet daily production targets, quality standards, and on-time delivery requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to work instructions, effective use of hand and power tools, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (10-hour shift) with two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute break; overtime opportunities on Fridays as required.

A Day In The Life
· Achieve daily production targets while following standard work, blueprints, diagrams, and design drawings to accurately spray, modify, and grind custom-fit products.
· Operate and maintain handheld air guns and power tools; perform basic equipment checks and escalate issues promptly.
· Perform rework per design specifications; verify workmanship against quality checkpoints and documented tolerances.
· Monitor and maintain workstation inventory; support accurate material handling and transaction discipline as directed.
· Contribute to a proactive safety culture by following PPE requirements (including full-face respirator when applicable), participating in safety talks, and reporting hazards/near misses.
· Support housekeeping and 5S in assigned areas; adapt to job rotation across cells/lines as needed.
· Collaborate effectively with peers, Leads, Quality, and Supervisors; Participate in daily tier meetings as requested.
· Other duties as assigned to meet customer, quality, and delivery needs.
What will help you thrive in this role?
Experience:
· 1–3 years of manufacturing experience; experience with spray foam and paint is an asset.
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical:
· Read and interpret blueprints/diagrams, equipment gauges, and work instructions.
· Accurate measurement skills (imperial and metric).
· Proficient use of measuring tapes, rulers, and common hand/power tools.
· Basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Troubleshooting mindset; able to identify and escalate issues quickly.
Behavioral:
· Strong communication, listening, and teamwork skills; punctual and reliable.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
Physical:
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift 35–50 lbs as needed.
· Comfort working in varying temperatures and with approved hazardous chemicals (with appropriate training and PPE).
Certifications & Assets
· Valid forklift certification and/or electric pallet truck experience (asset).
Working Conditions & PPE
· Use of PPE including safety footwear, eye/ear protection, gloves, coveralls, and full-face respirator as required by task and procedure.
· Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to resins/chemicals used in coating and finishing processes.
· Compliance with site safety rules, lockout/tagout where applicable, and participation in safety training and drills.
