Job Overview

As the Quality and Compliance Supervisor you will lead our Quality Assurance and Electrical Testing teams in support of our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance to internal procedures and Customer requirements to deliver high quality products and extraordinary Customer service.

A Day In The Life

  • Ensure that systems and processes essential to the performance of the Quality Management System are established, maintained, and continually evaluated
  • Report to top management on the performance of the Quality Management System
  • Help develop and execute our ISO 9001 based Internal Auditing plan
  • Teach and lead Problem Solving activities within the value streams to improve product quality and reduce scrap and rework
  • Apply Continuous Improvement & Lean principles within your teams to reduce costs
  • Develop direct reports through daily, weekly, and annual coaching to build a highly productive and actively engaged workforce
  • Participate in relevant industry training and development opportunities to stay current on best practices and to bring-forth ideas for new initiatives

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering, Business, or Management-related field with minimum five years experience with increasing responsibility in an engineering or management position in a similar industry preferred , or minimimum 2 year degree with minimum 7 years experience
  • Minimum two years experience utilizing Continuous Improvement and Lean tools and principles
  • Prior experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System preferred
  • Internal Auditing experience is a plus
  • Highly motivated with strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive initiatives to produce results
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to effectively align priorities to meet business needs
  • Develops and leads a Team who can work effectively under strict and varying timelines
  • Skilled at evaluating employee performance, and in providing training, direction, and support
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, readily mentoring across the organization
  • Ability to effectively interface with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Programs: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
