Position Overview

Under the direction of the Debit Resolution Team Leader, the Debit Resolution Clerk resolves deductions from retail customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Calls customers on delinquent unexplained deductions (Raco, Taymac, Bell, Acme)
  2. Works with all customer service at brand level and salesmen to obtain information as to why customer is taking a deduction.
  3. Researches and processes credits or chargebacks
  4. Assists with related special projects as required
  5. Does follow up on chargebacks to ensure they are paid by the customer
  6. Research customer sales data including price validation

Skills and Experience

  • Effective oral and written communications and presentation skills are essential, as are interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment is required.
  • PC skills to include: The ability to gather and analyze statistical data and generate reports is necessary. MS Office software, such as Excel and Word, and other internal management.
  • Organizational and analytical skills are required. 
  • The ability to work effectively with diverse populations is required.
  • Must be responsible, responsive, thorough and organized with an eye for detail
  • Must understand the importance of interaction between departments within the company
  • Customer oriented
