Position Overview
The Human Resources Supervisor provides assistance with all human resource functions at this business location. The HR Supervisor carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas including but not limited to: recruiting/employment, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits and compensation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organizes employee engagement activities, conducts stay interviews and promotes our culture of inclusion
- Promotes our corporate wellness program, including health screenings, flu shots; coordinates annual benefits enrollment processes
- Works closely with HRBP and HR Manager to provide clear and concise communication of policies and procedures to ensure a customer driven environment.
- Provides sound advice and counsel to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters; ensure employees and managers receive the appropriate counseling, guidance and support on employee relations issues
- Supports managers with timekeeping and attendance programs to ensure payroll accuracy
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Works with HR business partners, HR Centers of Excellence (CoE) and other functional partners (Legal, Finance, IT, etc.) to deliver HR support/services to the business and employees
- Exhibit strong integrity and loyalty to corporate vision and mission while nurturing a performance enhancing culture with emphasis on safety and a productive team environment.
- Implement programs to maintain positive employee relations.
- Help support all people initiatives and practices including recruitment talent, leadership development, diversity, performance management, organizational design, compensation, etc.
- Assist in the development of strategies to increase employee engagement, commitment, and safety.
- Ensure appropriate climate of labor relations, this includes involvement in grievance handling, thorough and objective investigations, and employee communication programs.
- Provides data analysis regarding HR KPI´s
Skills and Experience
- +3 years HR Supervisor experience
- +60% English
- Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Exceptional judgment and common sense, demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing employee-centric solutions
- Results-oriented with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and can track and interpret data.
- Experience managing teams of IDL. Desired.
