Position Overview
The HR Generalist is a key member of the human resources team and responsible for understanding the business model/products and human resources capabilities in order to help the business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with leadership team and HR Teams to implement a comprehensive people strategy in support of the Enterprise and Group strategic goals.
- Work in the implementation of human resources strategies, procedures, and processes for the business to help build and sustain a high-performance organization.
- Exhibit strong integrity and loyalty to corporate vision and mission while nurturing a performance enhancing culture with emphasis on safety and a productive team environment.
- Implement programs to maintain positive employee relations.
- Help support all people initiatives and practices including recruitment talent, leadership development, diversity, performance management, organizational design, compensation, etc.
- Assist in the development of strategies to increase employee engagement, commitment, and safety.
- Serve as an employee advocate, internal consultant, and business partner with management on human resources issues impacting the performance of the manufacturing operations and all support functions.
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure appropriate climate of labor relations, this includes involvement in grievance handling, thorough and objective investigations, and employee communication programs.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment, implementing multiple HR functions and capabilities in order to quickly respond to business challenges.
- +3 years in similar role
- Wide experience in Mexican Law, RIT management, Employee relations
- Strong analytical skills and have the ability to track and interpret data. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to provide guidance and conduct investigations of concerns and complaints, involve appropriate individuals, seek Legal advice, when appropriate, and successfully resolve employee relations issues with credible, creative, and consistent solutions.
