Job Overview
This position includes insulating steel cores; by ensuring roundness/rectangle mold through inspection of inner dimension, outer dimension, and height requirements, cutting strips to appropriate heights, and attaching strips to core.
A Day In The Life
- Follow Company safety and break policies, work in a safe manner, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to area Supervisor.
- Learn and understand standard operation of molding equipment including but not limited to mold prep, pouring and casting.
- Load material and Remove parts from board mounts and proper hoist placement in a safe manner. (Maximum Lifting Policy is 35 pounds)
- Work in an efficient manner maintaining part shift through-put quantity requirements.
- Ask questions when unsure of work safety and through-put quantity requirements.
- Keep area clean, follow good housekeeping practices.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to perform work for a minimum of ten hours and be punctual, reliable and have a good work ethic.
- Ability to walk, hear, see, and have full use of both hands.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
- Able to have organizational skills, regarding the setup of different layouts of parts
- Able to read, use and understand measuring devices. Along with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Able to communicate issues when they arise to ensure a timely solution.
