A Day In The Life
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of planners and buyers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Serve as the primary owner of materials management strategy for Ripley Tools
- Drive optimization across all materials functions, including:
- Production planning & scheduling
- Procurement & supplier performance
- Inventory management & control
- Warehousing and material flow
- Champion and support SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes to ensure alignment across the business and seamless product delivery
- Partner across functions—Engineering, Marketing, Quality, Finance, and Operations—to support strategic business goals
- Identify gaps and implement data-driven countermeasures to improve underperforming processes and suppliers
- Lead efforts to strengthen Lean Six Sigma initiatives, reducing waste and improving efficiency throughout the operation
- Build and execute sourcing and planning strategies that simplify complexity and improve scalability

What will help you thrive in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in materials management, operations, or supply chain leadership within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
- A track record of leading teams and driving performance improvements
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to influence, collaborate, and drive alignment across diverse teams
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action
