Job Overview
Primarily run the Wire EDM on 2nd shift to produce quality products
A Day In The Life
- Primarily operate Wire EDMs
- Work on Mill Machines as needed
- Inspect own work using various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparator.
- Maintain quality and production standards.
- Perform secondary operations as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Participate on continuous improvement teams and incorporate lean practices into daily activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
What will help you thrive in this role?
High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience. At least 6 months-1 year experience required with Wire EDM. Ability to read and write English and do basic math. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Must be able to lift 35 lbs on a regular basis.
