Job Overview
The primary role of Sr. Director, Channel Management - Specialty Infrastructure, is to manage our distributor channel strategies and tactical execution for all HUS markets including Utility, Communications, Gas and Water Infrastructure. This role will work closely with the sales management team in each segment to maintain and grow our relationships with our key partners, develop and implement industry competitive programs, and support the local, regional, national and international sales managers to implement the channel strategy and programs.

A Day In The Life
- Create, implement and maintain overall strategic direction for HUS’ distributor channel to market across all segments including Utility, Communications, Natural Gas, Plumbing & Propane and Water.
- Lead the development of distributor partner marketing programs to enhance HUS’s channel position.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to implement local and regional distributor channel strategy in support of sales goals.
- Work in partnership with other Channel Managers, VPSAs and Key Account Managers for a comprehensive approach to the distribution network.
- Manage our commercial relationship and initiatives with our major distributor partners.
- Manage the key distributor channel processes, analytics, reporting, and activities in support of the Platform & Sales Management and Business Unit organizations.
- Develop upper management account relationships to further enhance HUS position with key distributor channel partners.
- Plan, implement, and participate, as required, in industry functions.
- Conduct segment, channel and industry-based research and analysis.
- Collaborate with HEM (Branding & Advertising) and eMarketing resources to develop marketing material targeted to the distributor channel.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for business related trips; ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

- 10+ years of experience in the various utility markets working with and bringing products to market through distribution channels.
- Existing relationships in one or more of the aforementioned markets.
- Familiarity with the product sets manufactured by the Specialty Infrastructure SBU.
- Data analysis skills with demonstrated ability to deliver concise market forecasts.
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation, and communications skills.
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and managing multiple projects.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and website/mobile/social media tools & applications.
- Shared/recommended decision regarding training, strategy and execution.
