Position Overview

Hubbell, Inc is looking for a Pre-Production Video Marketer to join our Hubbell Enterprise Marketing team. This position is a critical part of our video marketing team, overseeing the production logistics and needs for projects. The Pre-Production Video Marketer will support the pre-production phases with a focus on strategy development, concept creation, storyboarding, and scripting.

The Pre-Production Video Marketer should be highly organized, creative, dedicated, have a keen eye and work well under pressure and against deadlines. They will ensure a consistent Hubbell voice through imagery and overall look and feel to drive awareness, engagement, and advocacy. The successful candidate will be able to achieve technical, qualitative and quantitative goals while meeting project’s needs and deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guide pre-production process of high-quality, engaging video content for both internal and external audiences.
  • Work seamlessly with product marketing teams to understand communication needs and content objectives.
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with internal clients, Hubbell Enterprise Marketing, and fellow video team members.
  • Strategic oversight of production tactics, concept development and story creation.
  • Execute pre-production activities such as project meetings, project planning, storyboarding, and scripting.
  • Manage pre-production logistics such as location scouting, product coordination, casting, and talent /client management.
  • Ensure high quality and on time completion of all work projects
  • Ensure that content adheres to corporate brand standards and guidelines.

Skills and Experience

  • Broadcast, corporate studio, or video production agency experience required. (visual portfolio preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (writing samples required).
  • Experience generating and overseeing first-rate video production logistics through tight, constantly changing deadlines.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, with experience presenting to an executive audience.
  • Strong team player and creative problem solver; highly organized and self-motivated individual.
  • Solid understanding of video production software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder - preferred.
  • Experience with multiple media platforms - YouTube, Brightcove - preferred.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and approximately 5+ years proven experience.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time; ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Up to 25% travel
