Division Overview
Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

The Associate Salesforce Administrator will assist in the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Lightning platform. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes. The Associate Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for assisting others with the day-to-day configuration, training, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as Associate System Administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 200+ users and growing rapidly
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Work with little direction to understand business needs to define and document the scope of new development requirements
  • Work with our management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Assist in training of users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization

  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and data management abilities
  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal/written communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization  
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce.com platform, with the ability to build custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud) manager
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency and intermediate Excel skills required

Preferred Experience

  • Salesforce Admin Certification desired 
  • Hubspot or an equivalent marketing automation platform
  • 3-5 years of marketing, sales and/or business professional-related work experience
  • Salesforce Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Pardot experience
     
Education
Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing
