Job Overview

As an integral member of the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, the Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist will collaborate closely with Recruiters, HR Managers, Hiring Managers, and both external and internal job applicants. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our recruitment processes, ensuring Hubbell continues to attract and retain top talent. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, driven, and ready to become an expert in all aspects of recruitment at Hubbell.

A Day In The Life

  • Work closely with recruiters in the US each day to address various requirements and inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with the business to offer solutions and recommendations for resolving issues for the global enterprise.
  • Assess enhancements and the impacts to the global enterprise based on any various change to the ATS.
  • Capable of managing projects, evaluating potential improvements, and thoroughly testing functionalities to guarantee effective implementation.
  • Manage updates for candidates and job requisitions in our applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors).
  • Coordinate and adjust interview schedules as needed and manage candidate travel and accommodation following company guidelines within the US.
  • Oversee the ordering, tracking, and reporting of candidate background checks, drug screens, and assessment tests in the US and Puerto Rico.
  • Draft and send offer letters to candidates.
  • Manage communications and timely responses from the Hubbell Careers external mailbox.
  • Ensure compliance with OFCCP documentation requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive and proactive candidate experience.
  • Support the management of the US and Puerto Rico centralized pre-employment procedures.

  • A college degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Expert-level English proficiency (written and verbal), required.
  • Foundational knowledge of U.S. employment law, particularly in hiring and background check practices, required.
  • Prior experience in supporting HR or Recruitment teams.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); experience with SuccessFactors is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills; proactive and urgent.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
