- Sr Cost Accounting is responsible for managing, controlling, and verifying the physical and financial records of company assets, as well as overseeing people cost, expense analysis, and cost reporting. This role supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control and audit processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial information in accordance with US GAAP and SOX requirements. The position requires close coordination with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure proper asset tracking, labor cost control, timely reporting, strong internal controls and audit readiness. Strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and effective collaboration across departments are essential to support informed decision-making and reliable financial performance.

- 3+ years of Fixed Assets
- 3+ years of Cost Analysis
- 3+ years of Headcount Analysis
- Solid understanding of general accounting & financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and Sox Regulations.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing regularly with professionals at all levels of the organization, from manufacturing floor to executive leadership
- Solid understanding of internal control frameworks, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance requirements
- Experience supporting internal and external audits, including audit requests, walkthroughs, and control testing
- Ability to identify control gaps, propose corrective actions, and support remediation plans
- Experience documenting processes and maintaining audit-ready support in accordance with company policies and SOX requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in asset management and financial reporting tools
- Effective written and verbal communication in Spanish and English
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external vendors
- Experience in cost accounting forecast and budgeting processes
- Related business or accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting procedures and information systems
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Working knowledge of SAP
