Job Overview

• Support manufacturing areas in solving problems that impede achievement of production and quality goals.
• Implement changes to production processes that improve product quality, productivity and reduce production costs.        
• Justification of new machine and dies and management of existing ones.   
• Support new product introduction

A Day In The Life

• Identify, prioritize, and execute projects that increase productivity, quality, and reduce production costs.
• Design and improve tools in manufacturing processes.
• Quantification and improvement of the capacity of manufacturing processes.
• Establishment of methods and procedures in production areas and their documentation in process sheets.
• Quick attention and problem solving of production areas.
• Communicate with U.S. affiliates when necessary for support and information necessary to solve problems in production areas.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Indispensable) Master's degree in Engineering or Management (Desirable)
• Knowledge in Process Setup of Metal bending, stamping, cutting, crimping & forming
• Knowledge of Failure Analysis.
• Basic/Intermediate Knowledge of die design and machining
• Ability to develop, define and document processes (parameter sheets, visual aids, standard work, setup and maintenance routines)                                                         
• Intermediate skill in the use of Solidworks, Autocad design software
• Knowledge of process validation  
• Intermediate/Advanced knowledge in reading and interpreting GD&T drawings 
• Ability to interact with multidisciplinary work teams
• Ability to analyze and solve problems. Using 8D systematic tools, Kepner Tregoe, Six Sigma, Shainin or similar.
• Responsible and with a positive approach. With initiatives to make improvements. English language skills -fluent (Indispensable)
