Job Overview

The SAP Sales Systems Analyst plays a key role delivering value add solutions to IT and business users. The position focuses on the identification, planning, managing, and implementation of new business processes and functionality. The role drives SAP clean core best practice while promoting harmonization. Day-to-day work can switch between small service improvements, to participation on very large projects.

 

The successful candidate must be an experienced SAP Sales analyst with the ability to support sales-order management functionality and post-sales activities. Need to understand customizations and differences between twenty plus customer facing sales areas. Areas of responsibility include inquiries, quotations, sales orders, invoices, intercompany relationships, ecommerce, sales commissions, archiving, credit/debit processing, customer-facing documents, sales master data, freight, and all pricing conditions.

 

 

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. Your role as an SAP Sales Analyst will be to:

  • Influence and convince peers and business users to adopt clean solutions.  
  • Work with business users to understand and gather requirements for new functionality requests.
  • Collaborate with non-Sales IT users to deliver cross-functional solutions.
  • Represent Hubs IT Sales and Marketing during SAP implementation projects.
  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Actively participate in regularly scheduled team meetings as well as meetings with SD business segment leads.
  • Regularly submit updates to CSIs and Projects in AHA.
  • Proactively communicate project statuses and updates to stakeholders.     
  • Follow Hubbell standard procedures relating to SAP change management.

·       Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for all changed or new functionality.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • 10 years of experience in the SAP application space with at least 5 years in an SAP S/4 HANA environment
  • Full understanding of SAP S/4 HANA functionality across all business functions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to partner, influence, and build strong relationships
  • Some project management experience
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Science, or related major concentration
