Job Overview

We are looking for a suitable Graduate with 0-2 years of data engineering experience who independently owns configuration, metric logic, and analytical integrity within the Innovation Management (New Product Development - NPD) and ensures alignment with analytics and reporting. This role operates with moderate autonomy and is accountable for design decisions within established governance.

 

A Day In The Life

Role and Responsibilities

 

As a member of CTO office – Reporting and Analytics team, the person will be responsible to support various periodic activities like creating metrics and maintaining Innovation Management Software, dashboard reporting and communication with different groups/stakeholders.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Configure and maintain NPD metrics (input and calculated) with correct system naming and model associations.
  2. Design calculated metrics using logical expressions (conditional logic, aggregations, null handling).
  3. Build and manage matrices for multidimensional data use cases.
  4. Configure Quick Grids, Deliverables, and Layouts.
  5. Manage test-to-production changes with strong governance discipline.
  6. Develop and validate Power BI measures using DAX aligned to Engin definitions.
  7. Good team player with proper set of attitude in understanding the requirements of team and stakeholders.
  8. Should be a self learner and maintain/enhance good customer relationship at all times.
  9. Perform other duties as necessary.  Assist in other functions, projects, etc. as required.

 

Internal On the Job training will be provided related to the process and relevant applications.

 

What will help you thrive in this role?

Education: Bachelor's Engineering (Computer Science or related fields)

Experience: 0-2 years in Data engineer or Analyst role

Mandatory 

  • 0-2 year experience in programming
  • Strong analytical reasoning for formula-driven logic.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation habits.

Desirable

  • Hands-on experience with Innovation Management (NPD) software
  • Power BI experience

Software Skills:

Mandatory 

  • MS Office and any dashboard reporting tool
  • C++ or Python or Java programming

Desirable

  • DAX programming (PowerBI)

Other Skills

Good written and oral communication, analytical skills, high learning agility.
