A Day In The Life
- Complete all work and directives from Maintenance Supervisor
- Follow all Company Safety Policies
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on production equipment, including inspection of drives, motors, belts, fluid levels, and filter replacements.
- Diagnose, repair, adjust, and test machinery; respond to both routine and emergency breakdowns using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment to replace defective components using hand tools, power tools, and lifting devices.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute maintenance tasks accurately.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Safety teams on projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with mold set-up as required.
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Possess 2–5 years of experience as a Maintenance or Facility Technician, preferably within a large manufacturing plant or industrial facility.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of PLC systems and their functionality (programming experience not required), as well as pneumatic systems.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge across multiple maintenance and facility disciplines.
- Apply strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on heavy-duty industrial machinery, including hydraulic systems and presses.
- Have a minimum of 2–5 years of experience working with high-voltage systems (460V–480V).
- Read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
- Exhibit strong communication skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Show a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Trade Certification or Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
- Demonstrate the ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Maintain familiarity with Cal/OSHA regulations and safety standards within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Cal/ OSHA regulations within a manufacturing setting
