Job Overview

The Project Manager plans, executes, and delivers projects according to the established Hubbell Enterprise Project Management delivery methodology, including all aspects of planning and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party consultants.  

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: 

  • Setting project scope and objectives, defining milestones, creating the project plan, and managing the execution, implementation, and closure of the project. 

  • Coordinating across multiple functional areas to successfully complete complex business and data related projects that are short, medium, and long range in duration. 

  • Assisting in establishing the project budget and delivering on-time and within budget. 

  • Monitoring and reporting project statuses to team and assessing results. 

  • Maintaining and enhancing good customer relations by providing reliable and prompt communications to internal and external stakeholders with both written and verbal excellence. 

What will help you thrive in this role?

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required.  

PMI/CPM certification preferred.  

3 - 5 years of experience with project management. A six-month probationary period required to fully complete a successful on-boarding understanding of the above illustrated role.  

Experience within SAP or other ERP business systems preferred. 

Strong comprehensive knowledge of business systems and applications, such as Microsoft Project or Project Server. 

Strong knowledge of business processes across all functional areas is preferable with a good working knowledge of how Master Data is critical to effective business process execution.
